Funny you mention that! I didn't find out about Heat Source until after I managed to upload the first build. Came up with the basic concept of Hearthfire after reading Adastra, oddly enough!

Rolibar and me already talked, we both are cool about it, even sharing some interests in common. In fact I was gonna name my otter "Chris" too 🤯😅🥰🤭 and I also was inspired after reading Adastra. We both like the otter-bear combo and it's cool, none of us invented that 😅 so please keep it cool with my big bro Rolibar 💖

Up to you if you want to whiten his fur to an off white level, but I do feel like just having red eyes seems unique enough, they contrast with his personality, really catching your attention!
I came into this game with admittedly low expectations, but I now regret judging it so soon because I've started to be charmed and captivated by this VN's writing and character style. Definitely looking forward to the future updates.
Haha, thank you for the compliment! Tonraq kinda breaks out of the mold as a love interest/protagonist with his aloof attitude. It'll be fun to see his emotional walls come down later~

Only the start of each is similar, once at the Clinic it deviates enough to set them apart. Quick, simple, ... painless??? Poor otter
Yeah, hah! I read the opening for Heat Source and I was pretty surprised with the very similar beginnings.
But, I chalk it up to quirky circumstance. Hopefully the story I tell will be more divergent, even if similarly themed.
That being said, everyone else should totally check out Heat Source as well~
